The name may sound like a cheesy slasher movie with ninjas and half naked teen girls but Ninja Massacre was a gauntlet clone made by the Codemasters for the commodore 64 was surprisingly fun and one of my favourite two player c64 games.
You get to play ninjas who throw shurikens (which look like glowing spit in the amiga version) to kill various nasties and escape from 50 maze-like levels, evading enemies such as the mumbling potato heads, naked archers, zombies, mad professors in lab coats (the annoying white ghosts that never die) and big armed gorillas with fruit salads on their heads. How cool is that?
